Books at the Bar - There is a River: The Story of Edgar Cayce

Join HCCPL while we read about one of Hopkinsville's most famous residents, Edgar Cayce. If you aren't familiar with one of the City's favorite son's he was clairvoyant who claimed to speak from his higher self while in a trance-like state. During the sessions, Cayce would answer questions on a variety of subjects such as healing, reincarnation, dreams, the afterlife, past lives, nutrition, Atlantis, and future events.

The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville, Executive Director, Alissa Keller, will join us with a presentation, Cayce artifacts and much more about Edgar Cayce and why he was known as "The Sleeping Prophet".
