Hopkinsville native Dr. Eugene Poole, Jr. is an architect and certified project construction manager who oversaw the restoration of the U.S. Capitol dome in Washington, D.C. In addition to his extensive resume as an architect, Dr. Poole is also an ordained minister, former professor of religion and philosophy, and a talented tapestry and quilt artist.
